Carl’s a good buddy I’ve met through the listener fans of The Two-Headed Nerd podcast. He now has his own podcast called The Goadkicker. He was referring to my tweet to him about these pages. In the last few months I realized I don’t use black ink the way I see a lot of comic artists do. It was bothering me. Thought I was incapable. But when I posted the original pages, I realized that I once had, and maybe I can again. That was the discussion. Then Carl, out of nowhere, said this.
